Terms and Conditions
“Mari Jones, trading as Picture to Puppet”, will be referred to throughout as “Picture to Puppet” or “we”. The customer will be referred to as “the customer” or “you”
Intellectual Property
By placing an order with Picture to Puppet, you warrant that you have the necessary permission, right and authority to place the order and you authorise Picture to Puppet to produce the products on your behalf.
Picture to Puppet reserves all intellectual property which arises in the course of provision of the services. Design rights may sometimes be purchased separately on request.
Picture to Puppet must be credited in writing if works produced, or images/ footage thereof, appear on stage or screen.
Payment Terms
Work will not commence on your order until payment or purchase order has been received. Ownership of goods provided remains with Picture to Puppet until the goods are fully paid for.
As all Picture to Puppet products are made to order, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once placed. Amendments to work carried out may incur a fee.
Deposit
The design deposit (if applicable) is non-refundable and covers 1 drawing of your prospective item and up to 6 fabric swatches.
Should you decide to proceed with the creation of the item depicted, the deposit amount will be deducted from your final invoice.
Further drawings or swatches, if required, will incur additional charges, which are not redeemable against the final invoice.
Work on the production of your item will not commence until full payment or purchase order has been received.
Delivery times
Lead times are a guidleline and are not guaranteed (unless otherwise specified).
Delivery times are subject to third party couriers and postal services, and therefore cannot be guaranteed.
In cases where the item is needed for a particular date, we can often guarantee a dispatch date, however please keep in mind that we cannot refund you if the item arrives late as a result of a delivery delay.
General
Picture to Puppet will not be held liable for future legal action, for example for third party claims arising from the use of goods supplied.
Picture to Puppet has a zero tolerance policy of abuse, aggression and rudeness towards our staff, and we reserve the right to terminate the working relationship at any time should these behaviours arise.
Quotes in GBP are valid for 6 months. Estimates in other currencies will vary daily according to the exchange rate. Lead times are subject to change.
This contract shall be governed by Scottish law.
