Design & Prototyping Services
From concept to design, material sourcing, prototyping and patterning
1. Initial sketches
You can send us a quote request with a brief and any visuals you have, such as reference photos or rough sketches. We will then look over the details and send you a quote for the project.
2. Technical Drawing
On receipt of the brief, we do one or more digital toy design drawings, which include dimensions, notes and fabric samples.
At this point, you can request any amendments and decide whether you would like to go ahead with the initial toy.
3. Fabric Swatches
We source fabrics from across the world to find the most suitable for each toy. Some fabrics we can dye, age or distress. For printed toys, we can even create a custom printed fabric. Adding printing or embroidery is also an option.
Once sourced we will send you samples to choose from.
4. Production of a prototype
Once the design drawings and fabrics have been approved, we order the fabric in, produce a working pattern and construct the first toy.
5. Full Copyright
If you require any changes after seeing the toy, we can either make amendments to it, which are charged at £45 per hour, or make a second iteration of the toy, which would cost 75% of the original price.
Once you are happy with everything we will send you the toy.
6. Production pattern
Once you are happy for us to finalise everything, we will digitise the paper pattern that we made, used and edited as we worked.
This along with material specs will be sent to you so that you can produce your toy anywhere in the world!
